Methods

  • Arena & Arena Gold Lawn Method

    1) Take up existing turf

    2) Supply and install new topsoil where required

    3) Rake level

    4) Supply and install Arena or Arena Gold grass

    5) Flatten with boards

    6) Clear all waste and clear up areas

     

    Caring for your lawn

    1) The new lawns will have to be watered daily (if no rain), water for approx 15mins each section

    2) Please do not walk on the lawn areas for two weeks to allow the turf to attach to the soil

    3) For the perfect lawn fertilize once every 3 months

     

     

    Artificial Lawn Method

    1) Take up and remove existing turf and topsoil

    2) Supply and install weed paper

    3) Supply and install a sand and cement border to the perimeter, to fix the artificial grass too

    4) Re-level area with crushed concrete#

    5) Compact area

    6) Supply and install either granite dust or sharp sand, depending on pet-friendly

    7) Level area

    8) Supply and install artificial grass

    • Attaching artificial grass to the perimeter via pins fixed at approx. 300mm or glued

    • If the area is 500 metres, we will have to join the grass together using tape and glue (manufacturer’s recommendation)

  • Stone Patio Method


    1) Take up existing patio slabs
    2) Dig out and remove sub-base
    3) Level area
    4) Supply and install crushed concrete approx. 75mm
    5) Compact area
    6) Supply and install new stone patio
    7) Patio stones laid on a solid bed of sand, cement and PVA glue
    8) All down pipes are cut around

    9) Pointed with epoxy grout

     

    Porcelain Patio Method

    1) Take up and remove existing patio slabs
    2) Dig out, remove and level area
    3) Supply and install crushed concrete approx. 70mm
    4) Compact area
    5) Supply and install DPM membrane
    6) Supply and install anti crack mesh
    7) Supply and install concrete approx. 70mm
    8) Tamper finish
    9) Supply and install porcelain tiles set on sharp sand and cement, mixed with tile adhesive
    10) Pointed with epoxy grout
    11) Final clean

  • Wooden Retaining Walls Method


    1) Supply and install wooden sleepers
    2) Set on a footing
    3) Fixed with 4x4 posts, set in concrete
    4) All posts are fixed with 150mm bolts

     

    Brick Retaining Walls Method

     

    1. Dig out footing
    2. Pour concrete approx. 100mm
    3. Supply and install face brick work
    4. Behind face work, supply and install concrete blocks
    5. Capping to be finalised

     

    Concrete Block Retaining Walls Method


    1. Dig out footing
    2. Pour concrete approx. 100mm
    3. Supply install concrete blocks laid flat on sand and cement
    4. Wall to be pointed
    5. Coloured render to be applied
    6. Capping to be finalised

  • Method


    1) Dig out and remove soil
    2) Supply and install wooden framework
    3) Supply and install sub-base of crushed concrete approx. 70mm deep
    4) Supply and install 1200-gauge DPM if required
    5) Supply and install concrete approx. 70mm deep
    6) Tamper finished

  • Standard Drainage Method


    Supply and install a 4-inch ACO drainage system set in sand and cement, connected to the existing drainage pipe.

     

    Soak Away Drainage System Method


    1. Soak away drainage must be put in a minimum 5 metres away from the house (Due to building regulations)
    2. Dig out area and remove soil

    3. Supply and install plastic crates wrapped in weed paper
    4. Small footing is dug out
    5. Install 4inch drainage pipes, covered in pea shingle
    6. Back fill and compact area

  • Wooden Gate Method


    1) Dig out to accept the wooden posts set with post mix concrete
    2) Supply and install wooden gate to fit
    3) Supply and install all hinges, handles and bolts (client to supply lock)

  • Bark or Decorative stone for flower beds Method


    1) Prepare area
    2) Supply and install weed paper if required
    3) Supply and install tree bark or decorative stone
    4) Level area

  • Panelled fencing 6x6 panels with wooden posts and gravel boards Method


    1) Take down and remove existing fencing panels and replace with new
    2) Supply and install wooden posts set in post mix
    3) Supply and install wooden gravel boards
    4) Supply and install wooden rails
    5) Supply and install wooden panels
    6) Supply and install capping

     

    Concrete posts and gravel boards with panelled fencing 6x6 Method


    1) Take down and remove existing fencing panels and replace with new
    2) Supply and install concrete posts set in post mix
    3) Supply and install concrete gravel boards
    4) Supply and install wooden rails
    5) Supply and install wooden panels
    6) Supply and install capping

     

    Post and Rails Method


    1. Supply an install post and rails using post mix
    2. Supply and install feather edge to the rails

  • Method


    1) Dig out and remove areas for the wooden posts set in post mix concrete
    2) Supply and install timber rafters (shape ends to be finalised)


    Colour stain can be supplied and installed if required.

  • Block paving driveway Method


    1) Dig out and remove existing area approx. 250mm deep
    2) Supply and install membrane to the area
    3) Supply and install type 1 crushed concrete
    4) Compact area
    5) Supply and install sharp sand
    6) Screed area

    7) Supply and install block paving with edgings that are set in sand and cement
    8) Compact area
    9) Supply and install kiln dry sand
    10) Compact area
    11) Clean area


    We can supply and install a resin sealer coat to the driveway if requested

  • Method


    1. Level area
    2. Dig out and remove soil for posts that will be set in post mix concrete
    3. Supply and install weed paper
    4. Supply and install timber framework attached the post, using timber frame bolts
    5. Supply and install decking fixed with screws (size to be finalised)
    6. Stain can be applied with use of a roller if required

    • Clearing areas

    • Removal of shed

    • Trim trees and bushes

    • Take out and remove trees

    • Stump removal – Can be completed by mechanical digger or stump grinder
